Hannah Whipple, FNP - Family Nurse Practitioner is a Family Nurse Practitioner who completed her undergraduate degree in ecology and cellular biology at Tulane University before attending the Vanderbilt School of Nursing. A native of Portland, Hannah spent many years in New Orleans, including a period following nursing school during which she provided medical care to residents in areas heavily damaged by Hurricane Katrina. Hannah’s love of medicine is matched only by her care and respect for all people. In her practice, she takes each patient’s full range of needs into consideration to provide comprehensive care. “I try to understand what the underlying issue is,” she explains. “Sometimes it’s just the physical ailment, but often there’s something deeper that’s causing it.”
Laura Hill, FNP - Family Nurse Practitioner has been a Family Nurse Practitioner at Nasson Health Care since 2009. She got her Master’s degree at Simmons College in Boston. Laura previously worked in Portland at Martin’s Point for 8 years and at Goodall Hospital. Despite this specialized background, Marcie loves working with all age groups, which led her to family practice at Nasson. She especially enjoys working with adolescents, and providing them with a safe place to talk about the issues affecting their physical and emotional wellbeing. Marcie strives to be a partner in her patients’ care by providing them with the knowledge they need to make the best decisions for their care.

Prior to joining Nasson Health Care, Gail was a Certified Surgical Nurse and performed conscious sedation in the Operating Room, before later specializing in Pain Management. She has two spirited (grown) daughters, and lives in Shapleigh with her husband, where she enjoys gardening, making memories with her friends and family, and watching the deer eat apples off her trees.
