Dental Care Oral health is an important piece of overall wellness. Nasson Health Care offers dental care that is integrated with the patient’s primary (medical) care, offering a range of services, including: ~ Exams ~ Consultations ~ Dental X-rays ~ Cleanings ~ Sealants ~ Fluoride Applications ~ Restorative Procedures ~ Emergency Dental Care ~ Dental Trauma Mgmt ~ Referrals Dental services are available for all Primary Care patients.
Robert Grace, DMD - Dental Director As of December 1, 2011, a new full-time dentist joined our team of dental providers at Nasson Health Care. Dr Robert Grace has extensive experience in private practice, especially community health, and was responsible for starting a new dental program at a community health center in Rhode Island in 2001. Dr. Grace has prior military experience and has practiced dentistry for 33 years between private office, military, and community health. He studied at Fairleigh Dickinson University in Teaneck, New Jersey, and did residency training at St. Clare’s Hospital in Schenectady, New York.
Michael Sloan, DDS has been providing dental services for nearly 40 years. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from the North Carolina State University, and went on to graduate from UNC-Chapel Hill as a Doctor of Dental Surgery. Michael spent eight years as a Dental Associate in a mid-sized private practice in Gainesville, Florida, and then relocated to Maine, where he spent the next 27 years in practice at Lincolnville Family Dentistry. Following a brief hiatus for travel, Michael joined the dental team at Nasson Health Care, which he says is unlike any other practice in which he has worked. “Dental care should be available to everyone, yet it is unaffordable for a lot of people,” he explains. “Dentistry is an important part of total health, and I love that money is not a barrier here at Nasson.”
Carmella Dube, RDH - Dental Hygienist It is essential that all patients understand the most fundamental aspect of dental care: that dental treatment does not work if oral hygiene is not adequate. Oral hygiene is of critical importance and is highly stressed as part of treatment at NHC. Our dental hygienist, Carmella Dube, RDH, has more than 25 years of experience in dental hygiene. She has worked in oral surgery, orthodontics and general dentistry. Carmella has a particular interest in providing dental care to patients with disabilities.
Angela Shorey, RDH - Dental Hygienist has been a practicing Dental Hygienist for nearly twenty-four years. Originally from South Berwick, she graduated from New Hampshire Tech with a degree in Dental Hygiene. For the past seventeen years, Angela has worked as the Dental Education Coordinator at Frisbee Memorial Hospital in Rochester, New Hampshire. In this role, Angela provides classroom oral health education, screenings, and other dental services to children in 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 7th grade children through Frisbee’s public health school-based dental program. In addition to her work with children, Angela provides outreach and dental screenings to seniors and other adult residents of New Hampshire. Angela has been at Nasson for seven years.

Corinne Gallagher, RDH is a Dental Hygienist here at Nasson. Originally from Maine, Corinne studied Dental Hygiene at the University of New England graduating with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in 2010. She first entered the field of dentistry as an Orthodontic Assistant by completing a course in Dental Assisting at York County Community College and obtaining her Radiology License. Corinne has experience working in a number of settings and roles: In addition to general practice, Corinne developed a specialty in pediatric dental hygiene in a School-Based Dental Program; serving as a Public Health Dental Hygienist. She enjoys treating patients of all ages and values the relationships she builds with patients. In her own words, “I really enjoy being a dental provider in a community. I love being able to start young kids and adults on the path to a healthy smile.”
